Frequently asked questions
about the Berlin Grunewald Tour
Do we go inside anywhere?
Not usually, no. We see some wonderful houses, but the doors are sadly closed to us!
Is there a break on the tour?
Not usually. This is a very residential district. There are cafes, shops at bathrooms at the beginning, and a beer garden and cafe at the end, but not much in between.
Where does the tour finish?
This tour finishes at the beer garden outside the St. Michaels Heim. On colder or rainier days we can easily head back to the Grunewald station instead.
Do we need public transport passes for this tour?
Kind of. The tour itself is walking only, but Grunewald is definitely not the centre of town, so you will likely need an AB transit pass to reach Grunewald Station.
