On 15 March 1921, a single gunshot rang out on the busy Hardenbergstraße near Berlin’s Zoo Station. Talaat Pasha lay dead. His assassin? Soghomon Tehlirian, a survivor seeking justice for the Armenian people in what became known as Operation Nemesis.
